280s K-planes on a 26' Nova Spyder?
Buddy of mine has an '88 Nova Spyder he is considering putting 280S k-planes on. He mocked-up a template of the 280S, and appears he will *just* have enough room. Anyone got a similar hull with these K-planes on it?

Those tabs seem a bit heavy duty for that boat. how fast is he going and is he hitting some big waves??? check out this link. the tabs are fully electric and don't have any hydrolic pumps to clutter up the engine compartment. the 16" ones with the single ram were around $500, the high performance ones were something like $800 for the 17" and $1200 for the 19" . they are very easy to install

Kook,
Hot Boat is correct on this one and on a 26 I would think if someone didn't watch very carefully that this would even be
a safety hazzard... They work really well on my 43 but I am
thinking this is major overkill...

Kook ,
I don't think that it would be a problem, I plan on putting the same ones on my 26 Scarab.
I have a friend that has the 28" k-planes on a 25 Active Thunder and they work awesome.
