I need help with props not sure what the best prop would be.
Ihave a 79 Excalibur 32' twin 454 motors with trs drives that are in the stock x dimen. Ijust had the motors gone throught over the winter new carbsholley 700cfm new comp cams cam extreme marine cam 112 degree lobe, 544/547 lift
226/236 @050 duration pistons are 10 to 1 comp forged
rectangle port hi perf heads gm 990 castings ,stainless valves. also added weiend single plane intakes
before the mators were freshend up I could turn 3 blade mirage plus 23 pitch at about 4900 at 62 mph now I can only turn them about 4700 at about 60 mph i tried a set of 24 pitch bravo 1's and could only spin them about 4400 rpm at 59 mph but had alot better midrange cruise. just curious on what props would be best for my application. thanks Brad
