Default attn: Matt, tested the 30"s

Hi Matt:
I tested the 30 B1s you bluprinted for me and my friend Rick H.
Mine seems perfect on my boat with the 1" spacer. Without it?
Rick's however, was a total bust on my boat???????
My Nordic/modified 575 ran 85.5 @ 5550 with my B1.
The boat ran 80.6 @ 5600 with Rick's prop.
For reference, the 28" P5-X you worked/sold me is still the best, even with the spacer at 86 @ 5600 on the limiter.
Conditions were ideal, cool 54o air, light consistent chop, cold (est. 48/50o) water.
I am surprised because his prop ran 84 @ 5400 on my boat last fall with a similar load. It feels like it needs some cup to lock it up? What do you think?
I think Rick needs to get to the water and test both props ASAP.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve,

Can you clarify what props you ran on what boat. I am not sure about your post, as far as which was which on which boat.

Julie,
I ran MY 30" B1, and Rick's 30" B1, both on MY Nordic.
As a baseline, I ran my 28" P5-X also.
Rick hasn't been to the water yet with anything on his Fountain.
My 30"B1, as stated above is pretty close to perfect. His was anything but.
Hopefully, it will work better on his boat, than it did on mine.
Steve

Steve,

Give me a call after Rick runs the boat. The Nordics and Fountains are very different boats with very different treatments. Let us know how Ricks boat runs... and call me with the numbers.
