Default Mirage to High Five

I have a Mirage 23 (NOT A PLUS) and I was thinking of trying a High Five on my boat. I am currently running about about 4800 rpms on hot days. Which High Five should I try to rev about 5100 or so? A 21"??

I know testing will show the exact #, but any ideas on cruising speed differences between the 2 props?

Will I lose a lot of top speed? or just a couple mph?

I don't know what type of boat you have but, I would still go down to the 21 pitch High Five.

Yes, you more than likely will lose more than a couple mph on the top end.

I would be interested to hear how they compare to lets say a Bravo1 or a Mirage Plus.

I should be able to spin the motor up a bit higher with the smaller prop. Will I still lose more then a couple MPH?
It is on a Baja 240 Sport.

There are several reasons why the High 5 is going to be a slower prop than your Mirage. Swapping rpm for pitch will not give you any more top end speed.

The High 5 is a prop that is designed to perform under water sports activities. It does this very well. You will also find the prop has great acceleration and hole shot. It's very difficult to get it all from one prop.
After running the boat you may find giving a couple mph on the top end is worth the added benefits at low to mid range speed.

How does the prop diameter come into play? I would think you would need more than a 21 pitch.
