I'm trying to learn a little about prop design. I've search through this forum, and read a couple of books. Today I was looking at some photos of props
The first one has straight trailing edges:
While these have much more curve to the trailing edge:
They're both 24 pich bravo 1 performance props. What assumptions would a prop expert make after looking at them??
thanks

I would assume that the top picture is not a Bravo 1 propeller. At least not from the picture I am looking at.
Though hub exhaust stern drive intended cleaver top pic (Q4). More stern lift.
Though hub exhaust stern drive semi round ear bottom pic (B1). More bow lift.

If I'm currently running a three blade but with blades shaped like the second props, and I'm running pretty flat on smooth water without tabs, and need a decent amount of tabs on rough water, would I then expect to much bow down with a four blade cleaver like the first pic?
I'm also going up in power and taking about 80lbs off the stern.
thanks
