Default Rotation on a triple

Forgive me if this has already been covered. In theory, on a triple rig, what´s the best set up with prop rotation - outermost props turning clockwise and the centre prop turning left?? Centre and right hand prop turning clockwise?? Centre and left prop turning clockwise?? The possible combinations are numerous and I´m curious as to what is the best set up. And this sounds a daft question, but would the actual race course have any bearing on the set up. For example at Key West, essentially (apart from 1) every turn is to the left - could it be said that 2 of the 3 props turning clockwise would help the boat turn due to the transverse thrust effect ?? (I don´t actually own a boat but am a big offshore fan).

Rotational physics holds true with triples as well as with twins. However the affects can be sustantially diminished with the addition of the center motor.
