Default Bravo 3 drives

A buddy of mine runs a Fountain 38 express cruiser with 496 HO's and Bravo 3 drives...............does anyone have much experience with prop set-up? He wants more lift and has a hard time coming out of the hole..........the forward props are 26's but he doesn't remember the rear props pitch.......any help is appreciated.

thanks very much;

Jay

We set up the exact same boat (a good friend of mine's) with the new 4 blade front and 3 blade rear. We used 25 pitch props and Lab Finished them.

The boat gets on plane quick and easy. It runs just over 60 mph at 5100 and has a great cruise. Call us if we can help more.

i am a fountain dealer. i just set up 3 of these 38's. i had my local prop guy add a little cup maybe 10 - 15 thou and true the wheels. set the tabs on 4 and the boat plains within 15 seconds , without mashing it and stressing the hardware.

cruised about 40 mph at 3500, and toped out at 62.9 at 5300
