Default Prop Comparison info

Any one used Michian Wheel Apollo 4 blade ,i can get a good deal on one .Just tested a 4 blade thophy which was good but double the price ??

Its an old 21 ft mono with a 200 efi merc 06 ,my son is restoring it

Michigan wheel propellers are more geared to entry levels. Because of this, the tolerances aren't as tight. I don't know of a 4 blade Apollo. The Trophy is a 4 blade which gives better hole shot and mid cruise and acceleration. If youcan try one do it. 3 blades usually have better bow lift but the Trophy + has alot of lift built into it.

So the 24 trophy has been fastest .Have the opportunity to test a Hydromotove 24 / 4 blade .Anyone want bet which is fastest ???

If you can turn the Hydro to the R's required and the bow stays high enough, it will be faster. Only because it is moving more water.

Also depends if anything has been done to the Hydro.
