I am "gentle" getting on plane and don't apply full power until over 70. My Bravo 28 blew out all the time.
I am easy getting on plane myself after blowing a prop and a hub back when I 1st bought the boat in 1990 with a 330hp. last motor was a 670hp which I have as a back up. I hope with the mod x demision 2'' it will get me to a 100, but for top speed a 32 or 34 labbed 4 blade for those special runs. mostly plan on cruising with this prop going to but the bigger prop shalf on the bravo diesel x drive, a lot of 24ol bajas with 1000hp or more run around a 100 but all that I have seen have the stock drive height and I picked up 4 or 5 with my shortie so should be 100 plus with a 4 blade. weeellll see this summer. with just the add on steering mine chinewalked at 76 to 83 so I have full going on it.
