Default bravo 1 vs hydro quad 4

what's the differents between the two props can you compare the pitch size ?

what's the biggest diameter that fits a bravo xr ?

boat is a 32 hustler whit twin cmd 320hp @3800 rpm xr drives 1;50 want to start testing whit 30 or 32 pitch bravo's or hydro's .

any idears which prop will work best on this hull,hoping to see 75 mph

Bravo's are more bow lifting props. Q4's are more stern lifting props. The Q4X is pretty comparable to Bravo.

You have more diameter room on a standard length Bravo drive than propellers sizes available.

The Quad IV-X acts like a bravo but a little better. You'll have to go down a size or 2 on the hydro to be comparable with the Bravo, but a standard QIV-X was a couple MPH faster than a lab bravo on my boat.

The Q4X is basically Hydromotives copy of a Bravo 1 and I would never say it is better. In fact, I find it to be the oposite in most situations. That is not to say it can't work better in some situations. Every application is at its own merit. The fact is, Bravo 1 propellers have more modification potential.

Testing is the only way to determine what works best out of the box and then determine if you wish to take it to the next level with Labbing.
