Question Identify a Herring prop

Abuddy of mine bought a 42 cig and claimed the props are 5 blade Herrings, they have no name just markings on inner hub,He said the hub is not removable They don't looked labed, I do not have a pick yet, I'm working on it,its unreal the people that have camera phones and cameras and don't know to take/send a pick.

Does these #'s mean anything to anybody?
11980
09 32 06

were assuming there 32's.The boat would barley plane!! Top rpm was 4500. I was told 30 bravos 4bld are stock on this boat ,he's trying my stock 30's this weekend to get a base line.

Thanks
Rob

Call Jeff at Hering.

He has your exact answer.

714-894-5656

The prop was built in Sept of 2006 - It is a 32 pitch

The number on the top is the specific serial # that Hering uses for its records to record specifics on the prop, and any work done on it .

Thanks for the #.

Its is not sharp, the leading edge is sand blasted, about 1/8. Felling the blade its not real thin

Yes on the dates.

The leading edge mark is a sanded LE used as a signature only. It isn't performance related.
