My old Pachanga 22 ran best with 3 blade cleaver. Have you been to the Hydromotive Engineering website? They make cleavers in all # of blades including 3 blades. Not exactly the same design but very fast racing props used on Fountains before they merged with Mercury. I love mine. My boat is faster now than was with the mirage pluses. If you don't find what you're looking for might be worth a try. I'd be interested to know if anyone has tried on a Pachanga?

Thanks very much for the offer northernoffshore, but the 23 pitch seems perfect for my nova with twin 350 magnums so I don't think I want to go down to 21 -- otherwise that would be perfect.

One huge favor -- could you tell me what the part number is like on your 21 pitch props (how is the counter rotating prop part number stamped on the prop related to the standard rotation prop part number?)

These are the props. The left one only has the prop hub #, not the side stamp. The left is 01, the right is 02.They need to be cleaned up and you could repitch them up to 23p. Thy work really well in some applications. The mirages 3 blades sometimes knock a couple of mph off the top.

Got a response from Mercury:

Good Afternoon. I am looking in the archives for our propellers. Regretfully I do not see a part number for a counter rotation clever propeller that matches your request.
So I guess they did not make a 23 pitch counter rotation cleaver matching mine.

Thanks very much for the offer - these clean up easy - just shined my existing (standard rotation pair) up in a few hours - but I think I'm going to stay with standard rotation for the summer and then maybe tackle going to counter during the offseason. If I spend too much more time tearing the boat apart, I could miss the summer :)

I hadn't considered repitching -- anyone know what that typically costs for a pair?
