3 vs. 4 blade props, what are the advantages and/or disadvantages of each?? Just boguht a 1998 scarab 29 with twin 350 carb engine what prop do you guys recomend for this application?

Generally, three blade props work better on non-stepped hulls with drives that are not mounted too high. Four blades work better on stepped hulls. What prop are you running now at what rpm and speed?

23's are the better way to go... three blade.

You might want to try a 23 -3 blade cleaver also, litte tougher to get on plane but they will work and might give you a few M.P.H.
