Default 29Mirage to 29M+ differences?

Just tried out an old school solid hub 29 Mirage.. loved the handling but need more pitch.

I know the newer 29 Mirage+ are odd ball props from everything I"ve read and I have no idea how the old mirage compares to the newer +, so I'm hoping to find out.

M+ is cupped and the other isn't.

Stating from what I read.

Mercury told me that the 29plus could be called a 31, it's a big prop to turn

Thats also in line with what I've heard.. just didn't know if the older 29 was actually a 29P prop.

Old prop is stiff too but the 29M+ is like 30.5 pitch compared the family.

Thanks Brett!

I was hoping you'd see this. Are you able to pitch up the 29m+ at all?

We can.
We do it by hand because there isn't a 30-32 pitch pitch block for the Mirage or M+ family. Noboby ever made one that I am aware of. We never had one at Mercury or Mercury Racing (things changed and we re-focused). However, we have done this in certain situations (at BBLADES). Situations that need the 3 blade personality and use the gear ratio and HP that need big 3 blade pitch sizes

Call us and we can discus the options.

Brett
