Default vent holes in Prop

I just recently got a 23 Mirage plus prop and it has vent holes on the side of the prop. The holes have a plastic plug in them now. I guess my question is at what point do you need to take these plugs out or what is the benefit of the plugs closed v/s open?

It is only relavent to hole shot.
All plugs out ventilates the props the most. If the prop vents too much, start putting plugs back in.

Search this forum for other vent plug posts. I have written extensively about that subject over the years.
