Load vs rpm drop?
How many rpm do you guys usually lose when running the boat loaded up vs running light?
When my prop slip was way up the boat actually ran faster when heavier, but now that I have that down to 12-13%, I was running with 6 people on board 3 full coolers, gear, clothes, and 3/4 tank of fuel pulled 4600. Max rpm for my motors is 5000-5200

There are so many variables it is difficult to offer a exact answer.
It is true higher slip numbers caused by exagerated X dimentions can be decreased by adding weight. However, speed doesn't always increase. It worked however, in your situation.
Weight is the biggest deterant to speed. The larger the boat and the more HP it hass, the sess the rpm and speed will be effected by this change.
Single engine outboards see the biggest hit while a 50 foot mystic with 1500 a side sees the effect less.
