The boat has 500 efi now and runs a 28 I've been told a 30 labbed is what I need but repowering with 500 cubic inch and boost thinking I'm gonna need a little more than that ... The original fountain sheet said 87 mph ...I've never seen above 82 with 4 people and fuel

Fountainboy27,
You will most likely need to go to 32 pitch castings.
When your ready, we can send you new stock 32's through our test program. With those you can get baseline information and determine the route you wish to take.
Thanks,
Brett

I have a set of stock 32 Bravos with stock 525's and put them on the limiters spring and fall, good air and decent water. I would think with 750 a side you would need more, unless you plan to spin them up there.

Our 2001 35 lightning has stock 500 efi's and turns stock 30" bravos to the limiter with cool air, 2' chop, and just me on board. With those conditions it'll do 88-89. But for average conditions and 5 people it'll do 84-86 every time. I would think with 750 a side, 34" bravos atleast or some 32" six or seven blade herings would be needed. Just my two cents.

750HP at what rpm? I turned my 32 4blades to the limiters on stock 575scis last year in a 38. However they ran at 5200 rpm most of the summer. I hate to go against Bblades, cause they are great, but I have to agree with the others that 34p is the place to start, unless of course you need to be in the high 5000's to reach your power.
If you have a stock drive I wouldn't run a solid hub or 5-6 blade prop, try to stick with the bravo one 4 blade and have bblades lab it to dial it in.
