15" to 15.25" diameter 5 blades run great on these hulls. We have set up many with custom Maximus props as well as OXP's from Turbo and Hydromotive P5X's. The Maximus seems to be the favorite.

No fear using 5 blade props on standard Bravo drives unless you are constantly drag racing out of the hole or fly the boat and returning to the waer bouncing off the rev limiters.

We have all 3 models for testing.

Word of caution although your experience is certainly more than mine.

I tried a set of 30P Maximus that had a diameter of 15 (maybe 15.125). During a run I encountered some 2-3 ft white-cap chop that was NOT enough to fly the boat however with wind crossing from port, the port prop kept loosing bite and reving 300-400 rpms while loosing a little speed. I turned around and went 180 degrees in the other direction and now the starboard exhibited the same condition. To me the blades were just a little too short in "rough" conditions where the hull never left the water.

2002 382, XR's w/o boxes. Heavy on gear/fuel and makes 630hp/700tq fully dressed on Precision Marine dyno.

Agreed, every boat is different. "X" dimentions make a big difference even in 1/4" increments. Bravo 1 propellers are advertised at 15.25" but are only that large in the 34 and 36 pitch castings. If a 15" B1 stays hooked up, a 15" Maximus surely should.
My findings have been 15.25" diameter Max's to be the favorite on most FasTech hulls.
