I'm pretty happy with it as it sits right now. I'm liking the 23+ now that I have my issues figured out and it seems to get up on plane faster than my 25, so its a good prop for my typical routine.
If there's ever down time or at the end of the season, that's where I may start tweaking further.

BUMP. Dinged up my 23+ so I picked up a regular 23 mirage to see if I could get it to 5000+ rpm.
Still no dice, but running 64.8 gps- so about the same speed and same rpm - which I find strange.
I wonder if my tach is off because I seem to get to the same rpm before it starts to blow out and need to tuck it back in some.

Bump again.
Turns out the regular 23P Mirage I was running last year as a replacement was modified. It had more cupping added to it, essentially making it a 23 Plus. I purchased an untouched 23P and have been running consistently faster speeds this summer. Between cleaning the hull, running straight 93, and the help of some current, I hit my best last night of 69.
