I'm in the process of buying a 2007 35 fountain executioner with 496 HO. it has 1.65 drives with a 32 5 blade. on the surveyed test drive it had full tanks with 3 adults. the boat only ran 72 mph at 4400rpms WOT. the drives were at 4.5 and tabs at 2. is this normal with the 32 5 blade? Do you think the boat is over propped or does the drives just need to be trimmed higher. I was told it should run 78-80

Does anyone know if I should be spinning closer to 5000 Rpms with 32 5 blades? I'm not worried about the speed I'm just trying to make sure nothing is wrong before I purchase this boat.

496 HOs should be 4600-5000 RPMs
