You better give that thing some more fuel if those A/F ratios are accurate on the dyno sheet.

That’s typical (ie: very insccurate) for dyno that uses airflow hat turbine and fuel flow meter to give a/f ratios. Instead of widebsnd O2.

OP: can you have them send you dyno chart with every 100rpm data vs the given 250 rpm steps ? Thanks

Thank you for the advise. I cant get anymore dyno info.
I wish I had a better understanding of the dyno info. What would you like to see for a/f ratio? I just bought the boat last fall.

AFR's should be 12-13 range. If those are correct, its way lean on fuel.

Prop it for 5200-5300 rpms with a light load. It will drop 100-200rpms with heavier loads and higher temps/humidity.

Thanks Griff,
It's strange that the engine builder would send it out the door if the a/f ratio wasn't right. I will be sure to read the plugs when I get in the water.

LOL, I seen it.

Jeffer, as SB said if those aren't wide band readings they're just a calculated average so to speak.
I see the graph has an 05 date on it anyways, if it was dynoed back then and been running problem free since, my guess is you're good. Hard to say.
