Default Prop Suggestion for 26’ Firehawk Cat

Bought this off a lady I know, it belonged to her late husband. Did not come with a prop. Has a high HP blower motor, don’t know how much. XR drive. I understand hull is similar to an American Offshore.
Since this is a guessing game, I’d like to find a used prop on here or FB marketplace. From what I’ve read, I’m thinking I should start with a 4 blade 30 pitch prop. I found a decent deal on a hydromotive prop but I probably don’t need a stern lifting prop, correct?
Thanks for the help.

How deep is the drive and what's the ratio? 28-30" is a good place to start, you might like going to a 5 blade but bravo is always a great place to start and experiment with pitch and find where your RPM is

Standard length drive. Not sure the ratio. No tag on the side.
There are 2 5 blades on marketplace right now. A 28 and 32.

I let a 31 4 blade hydro get away. It was on a similar set up.

I agree it’s a lot of HP but I wanted to try a cat out and I’m happy with what I got it for.
Thanks for the suggestion!

I had a AO 26 with 850HP. The boat did not like a 5 blade prop. The four blade B1 props work well with that bottom design. I ended up with a 34 B1 that would turn around 5600 RPM.

Thanks!
I’ll pass on the 5 blade then and look for a 4 blade bravo.

You may want to consider using BBlades test program to at least get a baseline.
