We will be on the dyno and tuning soon. and the Cat is off the trailer and in the rigging room with it's chest sticking out like a swim suit model. Sorry it's taking so long. I'm on the pay as we go plan. We will be painting the Monster tab black to match the drives, I understand these OE Cats do fine without tabs but the cool factor is there when you have one and there if we need it. Stellings headers and tails are pressure tested / re-polished and ready to go. If this project seems to be taking a long time to finish it's because there is so much planning in rigging a bare hull, it's expensive, and each step is paid for before the next step is started. . Money, Time and patience, mostly patients. Thanks for baring with me. We will be flying over 4 footers in this Old hole in the water some day.

Get to work, JK. It's a good thing we love Hi-performance boating so much. These projects take so long when we pay as we go, believe me I know. However they will be paid for when done. My kind of boating. Looks good VV.

I was in the process of buying some but after futher investigation these 509 CID short deck engines were a little light to handle the bigger dual Whipple so we went with the 3.3 single. We are trying to stay in the reliable 800-850HP Zone. If we upgrade later we will use the tall decks more CID like 565 & 4L Whip. Everything on this boat is over built to be extremely reliable from the Supercat racing engines 800-850HP,
Bam 1500 trannies and the #6 drives.
It's taking a long time to gather and build with this hardware but once it's done we can hammer and hammer till our arms hurt and hopfully look back and see nothing but a huge rooster for years to come. We took the Supercat engines from my Velocity pic 1 to Whippled Supercats pic 2 after a cam piston swap. Rods and crank are still Supercat.

Give details on mounting, location and pics for the tunnel tab when you get to that stage. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Johnny, Bobs shop reminds me of a hospital..I asked him if he wears a mask when he installs the internals of the engine.
I got that left raised eyebrow from him.

Picked up a couple high backs today, we will recover these when we figure out our interior color.
