Bob has Finished the engine compartment on the Cat Project. She looks like a naked lady waiting on chromed transplants. There is a difference in a bilge that's been painted and a bilge that's been painted right. The time, patience, and work that went into this is bar none as nice as it gets. Thanks Bob!

Thanks guy's. I will be proud of the old girl. She's coming along nicely. To bad we have to clutter it up with 1800 HP

Yes I'm assuming it sat outside a few years at some point in its life. But then again I have heard different stories on the history of the boat some are telling me it was built as a race boat and never rigged and some are telling me it was used as a race boat, stuffed and rebuilt so I really don't know for certain the true history. I like the first story! You can see it wasn't bad but didn't want to take any chances. Probably could have got by without changing it out but did it anyway. Whatever the history or what we find wrong with it, (see post 72) you can rest assure Bob O will make it perfect when he's through with it.

I'm going to paint them black and put a wix sticker on them. Actually those orange filters were on the dyno runs and will be swapped out later.
