[QUOTE=abones;3987040]It sounds like you have located the possible issue! Most cats that I've seen with bravo drives run the low water nose intakes without the side intakes. But I'm not sure If you can drill into the nose and create a water passage.. Maybe If Mr.Gadgets reads this he could have some insight on that, I would be very careful tomorrow not to run it very long!!!!! might start looking for a LWP Lower unit! keep us posted and be careful......[/QUOTE
Yea I decided not to chance it again, I feel bad enough my guy has done a lot of "warranty" fixes for me already without knowing exactly whats causing it. Im going to see if I can find one & send a couple PM's out Im guessing ill just change out that lower unit with a LWP style to match the other side then take it for a test ride.

Found a LWP lower, for the port side, plugged all 16 SWP holes w. 5/16 plugs on the starboard using only the 4 LWP holes. I only ran 60-70 mph all weekend but put on about 20 miles total not wanting to push my luck. Had plenty of water flow, temp was 120's oil was 140's. Had an absolute blast watching the water roost fly!!
Thank you again for everyone's time &
educating me through the
demon in my boat that I couldnt find. Im sure its not the end of problems but you can tall how stoked I am just to make it 20 miles without dropping a motor!! Now I gotta learn how to drive that beast its a whole new animal to me, call me what you want but im gonna take my time, read, listen & experience how to handle this beast before I really lay into the throttles.

GREAT NEWS!!!! Glad to hear you got to run the boat after everything you have been through. I hope you don't have any more troublesome gremlins to deal with. Take care & have some fun, You have earned it. Randy

Mike it was great meeting you Friday night over at Jason's campsite. I just went through your hole thread....great job with the boat! Not sure if you have water pressure gauges in the boat or not but be careful of to much water pressure. I fought that with my boat for awhile and ended up having to put dumps on. We try to stay at 25 PSI or less.
