This is a project of epic proportions. http://www.joesboats.com I have been working on it for a while. I lost a few pics but basically Pressure washed the hell out of the thing to get rid of whatever i could. Then I cut away the glass that was ruined. I relaminated the hole cut by the FD and reinforced it on the inside with 24oz cloth 2 layers.
Today I have been chasing down delam and its really bad. I am sure I will have to actually rebuild a 12 foot section of the hull on the port side. I am not really pleased about that.
Am I just being an idiot trying to resto this thing?

It all depends what you want, but man that looks like a huge project. If you want to restore for history maybe but I would think therre are some much more easier project boats out there. But if you are like most guys we are in this for the fun of working on a project. Good luck
