Default Upholstery staples?

Anything specific I should know or look for other than not to use the same cheap steel ones that are there and rotting/falling out...... Sucks when something really nice is all f'd up because of cut corners.

I used the monel (rust proof) on my trailer bunks, getting ready to do the same on the back seat bottom. These went through 16oz carpet just fine. They should go through the vinyl without any problems also. These are not pointed stables but worked fine, on new wood, old hard wood may be a little different though. Many different sizes, with and without point. Just google arrow monel staples and pick.

X2

You will notice that arrow makes a stainless steel staple but list it only as rust resistant where as the Monel staples are rust proof!

Jamie - I have both a manual and electic staple gun that takes a T-50 staple if you need to borrow it!

I found stainless steel staples at either Home Depot or Lowes. I believe they were Bostitch. This will be the third year and no issues

My H/D has Arrow SS staples. If they were going to rust they would have already around here.
