I will post some videos as soon as I get it going. I'm ready to get it going but have some pulley misalignment so probably going to have to make new spacers.

I have been real busy so haven't had much time to work on the boat, but made a little progress. The lower blower pulley uses a 6 bolt pattern and my old pulley only had a 3. The two patterns were on a different diameter so I had to do all 6 over. Thankfully, I was able to reuse the lower spacer which saves me a lot of work. The idler pulley and the upper pulley has to be spaced out 1/2 in order to clear the accessory pullies. Once I get the spacers made (waiting on material) I can install the whole setup and then only have to work on the hatch.

Will have more soon.

Here is a pic of the lower spacer with the new 6 bolt pulley pattern cut into the spacer.

I finished the idler pulley spacer and the upper blower pulley spacer last night. I found a local shop that had a 4" diameter by 16" long piece of 6061 aluminum so I went and got it. Way more than I needed, but I'm sure I will use it at some point for something. Even though it was 11pm when I finished the spacers I went ahead and final assembled the intake, super chiller and blower and tq them down to 12 ft lbs in 4 steps. I couldn't wait to see if my measurements were right and the spacing was going to work. After getting it all tq down I put the belt on and it looks perfect so now the blower is on for good. I do have to tighten the lower pulley. It's to tight of space between the pulley and firewall to get in there and tighten so I'm going to drill a small access hole through the firewall and tighten it from under the rear seat. I think that's going to be much easier than making a special tool and taking 30 minutes per bolt (6 total) to tighten them. Only thing left is to clean the carbs and put them on, make a low water pickup and install it, then run the lines. On the down hill side now. One positive thing is there is plenty of room to work in the velocity so I can get to the bottom of the boat in the bilge to hook up the low water pick up with out pulling the motor. Here are a couple pics from making th spacer.

Don't mind the mess in the garage! The lathe and mill are a total wreck right now, because I have been doing some work at home since my daughter is out of school. Between work and the boat my small home shop is a wreck!!

First on is starting out with rough material making the top pulley spacer.

This is the finished spacer next to the original spacer that came on the blower. I had to add 1/2" to clear the serpentine belt as the kit is designed for v belts.

Nice job, That's cool that you can make your own parts. Keep up the good work. Randy

Went out and worked on the boat at 4am this morning. Took the carbs apart and logged all the jet sizes and cleaned the carbs and set the floats while they were apart. Then painted them and hooked them up on top of the blower. Everything seemed to go ok with cleaning the carbs so figures crossed.

Now just need to tighten lower blower pulley and install the low water pickup for the chiller.

Getting close.

Looking good!

Got the motor finished up today and was able to start it on the hose. It sounds amazing!!!! Has a lot of blower surge I'm going to have to figure out how to tone it down a bit even though I wish I didn't have to. Only thing that's left is hook up the intercooler hoses.

Here is a quick video of it idling.

My friend and I were able to cut the hatch and all the foam to the back of the vinyl and allow enough room for everything to fit with out a scoop. Only thing is there is no support for someone to walk directly over the carbs so ill figure something out at some point.

Sounds good Craig! To turn the surging down you'll prob have to lean the idle mixture screws in a little

Joe I'm out 1 turn on all the air screws. In leans it out...correct?

That's correct. Try 1/2 turn out from seated and see what that does.
