Is it caused from being to rich?

One more thing. Do I need two inlets for the super chiller and two dumps? Or can I use only one inlet and one dump?

Thanks

One more thing joe since your checking this thread. I took the carbs apart to clean them and the jetting is as follows.

Both carbs have 84 primary's and 86 secondaries.

The front carb has a 5.0 power jet on the primary side and a 6.5 on the secondary side.

The rear carb has I think a 7.5 power jet on the primary and a 6.5 on the secondary.

35 squirters on the primary sides and 37's on the secondary sides.

That 7.5 power valve seems out of place or is it supposed to be like that?

How does this sound for a starting point?

As for your hole, you could make a box out of aluminum and then thru bolt it and spread the weight?? Actually... you could make a plate for the top and just add support brackets where needed. just a thought.

OH>> and that sounds Bad A$$!!

Nailit, that's a good I idea about making an aluminum "hat" and then screw it from under the hatch. I have some .090 aluminum I can make it out.

Good idea

Thanks

remember it needs to support weight... just a thought.. pull back the vinyl and make the "hat" and place on top of the deck instead of from under and it would be stronger! it would also give you a chance to check the wood trim around the hatch where the vinyl is stapled to..
My 25ol rotted there even though everything else was fiberglass. :-)

I took it all apart when I had the motor out. I replaced any wood that was in the hatch, but most eveything is star board.

On our superchillers i ran a #10 in and two #10s out, mine scooped water as the boat moved forward force fed

I put superchargers and turbos on eveything. Lol. It's a sickness

Got the boat out today and it was awesome. Still have the 30p bravo 1 on until I sell it and go bigger, but it ran what it did before except at what seemed like half throttle. :-)

I ended up doing one inlet in the chiller and two dumps. One per side of the boat. It added a cool look with the water spraying out the sides of the boat too.

I was sitting at the dock letting the boat warm up and the last guard heard it surging real bad so they (about 6 of them) pulled up and asked to see the motor. They were real cool and liked checking the engine out.

Here's a vid I made while it was warming up.

Here is a pic of the water pickup I made. Don't mind the 4200 spewing out every where. I didn't clean it off before the pic was taken.

Boat sitting at the dock while I parked the truck. Looks good...In my opinion.

Just noticed how dirty the bottom of my boat is seeing the water pickup picture. It gets like that every time I bring it out.
