Today there has been some work with the exhaust system. A lot of measuring and a lot of thinking to try to come up with something that’s a little bit different than usual :)

The beginning of the new exhaust ;)

I was just looking at your photos, you are really knocking this project out with some high end, one-off parts. Excellent machining on the aluminum. Just an FYI, one of your last pics is of your custom exhaust and the rear of the engine showing the crank with the flywheel bolts in it. Make sure to put extra, extra red Loctite on the flywheel bolts on Viper engines. The threads are tapped all the way thru ( you can see in the pan thru them) and oil will leak pass the bolt threads causing you problems. Just trying to help if you didn't know this, obviously your mechanical abilities are far above average.

Wow! Thanks for those to kind comments! You made us blush over here ;)
I am aware of that issue with the bolts but big thanks for the heads up. Next time it’s maybe something that we overlooked. Thanks for showing interest. :)
