And I have also drilled the holes in preparation for mounting the ventilation for the engines and the holes for the cleats.

And at home I have done some work on the windscreen. This is the original state after they had been cleaned.

So first I removed the "glass" panes and since they were glued to the frame this tool was quite helpful

And then I started woking on some scratches on the panes. First wet sanding...

and then some polish...

and finally enjoying the result.

The frames have been sanded and base painted

And I have also started applying the final paint.

And three days ago I got a message on my phone with the following photo:

So yesterday I visited the paint shop and here are some photos from that visit.
First some measurements for the stripes. You find these notations on quite a number of places on the hull.

And then the final stripe on the port side.

And with some clear-coat and polishing I think the finish will be more than OK.

And these posts brings this thread up to date, so this is where the restoration project is today. The work remaining in the paint shop is two stripes on the starboard side and clear-coating.

And here's the update on what has happened today. There has been quite a few messages going back and forth both by mail and cell phone.
The subject was where the Cigarette logo should be placed.
First proposal.

But then after looking at some pics of a Mistress in water it was decided to move it a downwards a bit.

And then it was fastened and Roger who does the paint job called me and said "This doesn't look good at all, I'll take some photos and send". It turned out that the guy printing the decals hadn't been careful enough when cutting them so there were some white parts left outside the black frame, and when put on a black background it didn't look good.

Then Roger told me what he planned to do. I must admit I didn't quite follow the steps he explained, but since I trust him I just told him to go ahead, and this is the way it turned out.
