Got they bustle glued on. After making all the pieces "flat deck" style it all gets tabbed and bonded and shmooed and glued together. After messing with several lengths and stuff i ended up with what i believe will place the bottom of the bustle just at the water line. The blue line represents where the water line is and the sail panel on the lower part i left long and arbitrary to be trimmed later. Originally i made the tail straight across the back but during bonding i massaged it into a nice gentle curve from side to side and it made a huge difference. The last pic i trimmed the tail and added a little "buttress" to the bustle . ..
