Been their still working on it.... That's exactly how mine started, simple motor refresh. Funny how it snowballs from their. Good luck on the build ! Glue in carpet will save a LOT of time. I have corianthian-marine-carpet saved in my favorites, don't know how their prices compare or about the quality, but I saved it for some reason...

I'll have to check them out...I'm going to give Nordic a call on Monday and see what they can do for me on carpet..I know heats did come with purple carpet so maybe they can cut me a deal...they were actually very reasonable on their prices for interior work

Finally made some progress this past week!! Got all of the rotten wood fixed and all glasswork done...picked the motor up yesterday so as work schedule allows hopefully next week I'll have the motor dressed and ready to drop in...still working on getting the money for the 6-71 instead of the 256 so I only have to do this once but we'll see...I'm no fiberglass expert by any means but this is how I did it and it seems to be solid as a rock now and of course no rot!! don't be too critical like I said I'm no expert lol...still have to paint under the engine and in the ski locker and paint the engine mount before I drop the heart in but anyway...heres some pics

Good job on the floor and I like the blacked out motor! That boat should rip pretty good.
