Building a house keep busy, but some boat updates.

Russian injectors not well design, I replace them by Volvo THD103 engine nozzle holders. They use same P nozzle tip than Cummins 24V 5.9 engine so there are big ones in market...
Size is difficult, too big makes haze, too small doesn't give power and will broke injector pump or injector lines....
I think 7x0.017" are good to 13mm plungers and does not smoke. injection angle is also big mystery, may be better keep it stock 145 degree

Injector holders need machine and water cut new clamping flanges so they fit to engine, they are very hard metal to machine....

My other boat,Formula 252SS engine build slow down Fountain build too. 502mag got rebuild, retrofit roller cam (comp XM284HR) and rockers, intake modification, Holley terminator x ecu and dual sync distributor and computer controlled water INJECTED long headers. Let see how they perform.... magnetic valve gives little quantity water to each primary tube after 2500rpm, at idle they are dry. EGT is under 300C at idle so exhaust wrap do the job and after 2500 they should be under 200C

I love the sound of radial engines! Environmentalist would love to see the 15 gallons of motor oil draining down the boat ramp after a day out running.

Fountain project go on slowly, I have limited free time just now, but some parts are almoust ready.
Injection pump base plate is machined and well lined to engine. There is no shop that sell modified parts to transmash, everything have to machine yourself.

Split box side plates are ready to CNC milling machine. It's very nice when parts take realistic shape from CAD draving.

For long time Fountain is not getting forward... Just building house and enjoy my little Formula.

Few parts have arrived, Volvo D16 charge coolers, BIG thanks to Stirling!
Contagious Diesel made big 5 hole injector nozzles for me, if someone need special nozzles, I can recommend this guy. Nozzles have machined from original small bosch nozzles by electric discharge machining. These should be ok with 13mm P pump at 680cc fuel delivery, which means near 3000hp power. Hole size difference to stock Transmash injector could be seen....

60mm waste gates have also arrived and I found huge raw water pump. It have 2.25" ports but have bearing failure, sand blast and fully rebuild and it should be ok.
