I like it and it's soft under foot, the sand sized rubber is white. Would lay better if sprayed with hopper gun or undercoating gun, but that would take some serious masking. I used their roller and dabbed with a chip brush, stomping with a chip brush in the inside corner blended nice.
that said, now i realize it would be nicer if the rear portion of the gunnel was gel (inbetween the blue tape)
also, the carribean blue would've really popped.

I can report that tuff coat is some pretty good stuff.
1. I was inside the boat yesterday doing some assembly and it feels buttery smooth.
2. My shorts were not properly prepped or primed to promote adhesion, non the less it remains flexible, soft to the touch and won't scrape off even after a handful of wash cycles.
if you notice the rubber granuals are white so when it wears over time the floor won't darken.

T nuts are hidden inside the platform, i countersunk the gel and glass and filled them back up (the countersink not the threads)with 4200 a couple days ago.
Dowels, fresh 4200 orings on the brackets, it set down almost as nice as cylinder heads on locating pins the first time with no smearing.

Thank you in advance for chiming in and helping, I have a thread in electrical but figure more views over here.
There is a rats nest of wiring, i need help with ignition start -run & charge correctly.
i literally need it from battery to a, from a to b, from b to c etc etc
the ignition was converted from points to electric.
some pictures where im holding wires correspond to the drawing where i wrote "off to ?" Since i dont know if they're going to somewhere or coming in from somewhere

Red from alternator spliced, red goes off to? Orange to breaker

Red from splice ( previous pic) black from bolt off to ?

Red from breaker off to ?

Same drawing different lighting

this is where the engine is

this is what is like when i open the box

New controls needed a bigger hole, which is way better than smaller. The control loaded from behind with the cables attatched !

Switches should've been here this week, theres plenty of room to wire it up.

There is less than 1/2 a 5 gal bucket of parts left, theres next to nothing on these boats, ski boat just moved up a notch in my book

the steering shaft bushings in the helm are worn out and sloppy, the steering feels good left and right, but the slop in the shaft causes the wheel to rattle around and after all the work, seemes worth it to replace.
the original rotary helm is still made, 400 bucks !
the standard replacement rotary helm is 89 bucks, but is has a smaller mounting hole and different bolt pattern.
time to bust out the machine shop and make a conversion plate,
then set up the bench grinder w/ some 600 grit for a final clean up.
for fun i picked up these 2 inch scotch bright discs and played around with jewelling it, i think it would work better by hand on the grinder or drill, rather than the cheapo drill press. Luckily the new bezel will cover the majority of the mess i made of it.
Huge fun with these braided wire grinder attachments crawling all over and under the trailer for a day prepping it for ospho and 1 qrt of paint that weighs 6 pounds it has so much zinc in it.

absolutely bring your ski down. Next month is tomorrow, reality is more like july but who knows.
i'm doing everything i can (short of cutting corners) to get it done while the boat market is up.
working on it today, this is my lunch hour now.
i'll sing from the halls of montezuma and anchors aweigh a couple times while cooking my burgers later for working on Memorial Day.
I'm Catholic and Navy so that'll be like saying 5 hail mary's and 2 our fathers after confession
