70+ sounds pretty good with a single.

Do you still plan on selling her after the summer?

pretty much a complete repower, getting rid of the fuel injection for a good old 850 carb. leaking exhaust manifolds sure can get expensive if not noticed soon enuff.

What kind of parts are you using ? pistons , heads ect....

taking it to a 509 srp pistons gm performance heads 2.25intakes ported and flowed, comp roller cam 560 lift, rpm air gap with 850 speed demon, msd ignition, and stainless marine high torqs. ct marine here in michigan says im looking at just over 500 horse he wanted to give the motor as much torq as possible thats the reason for the cam and intake and carb looking like there on the small side. im taking his word for it on this one he says hes done saber 28s before and this is what i need . hope he is right

You should have no problem making 500 hp with that. Any idea what the compression ratio is ? Are you guys going to dyno it ?

I pretty sure they are 9.3to1 but it will end up a little more from decking the block. I dont think im going to dyno it getting tired of spending money on it

still a dyno is a good idea, just to make sure its ready and running just right, before you drop it in the boat. could same you time and $ in the long run.

as of right now no plans of selling I will have to use it for a while to make the new motor worth doing. unless you feel like throwing me a price I cant refuse
