Any updates on W.W.???

Should know more in a week. Been pretty busy with work, but it's still on for this spring one way or another.

Hey Todd. Been working on boats most of my free time. We are putting boxes, steering and 700+s in a 35 Sonic. Then WW is torn down, doing the top ends with some changes. Also, some things with exhaust to dry her out a bit.

I will certainly give you a call next time I'm out your way.

Only a few short months left til summer!

Ok, port motor will be re-assembled within a week. leakdown test was good, no more than 15%. Heads done, combustion chambers increased from 88cc to 100cc lowering compression to 8.6:1. Additional porting, flow bench, 1st combustion chamber, and leg work done by Valako. Head deck, receiver groove resurfacing, and tech support, by Wesco. Springs from Sterling, lifters from Comp. Digitizing of first handworked chamber and CNC work on remaining combustion chambers done at my shop.
Starboard eng. rebuild should be much easier.

Hey Buddy how are things going with big brother ??

I finally got one of my tanks back & Finished from getting some tig work done over this past weekend... Its amazing how one motivated person can get more done in a week of spare time than what others can't seem get done in 6 months.. lol !!! Anyways that was a long story & just wasn't ment to be at the time...
I got all my grinding done that needs to be done before glassing my mounts in & Now I just need to do some recouping here at home so I can get back to work & get them mounted up & then pull them back out for paint..

Just wanted to check in & see how things are going & say that if mine don't get to splash this summer I may need to make a pilgrimage north for a fix !!! :D

Hey Scott. Ya I know how much we can get done on these boats when it's treated the same as a paying job. Just get in and start working your azz off. Mans thats gotta be nice "all the grinding done". I've a few good days like that on WW. Port engine is fully assembled with all machine work and new parts in. Starboard is now in pieces. We used the best stuff I could afford for the top end rebuild parts, (same stuff that was in there). I think she will benefit in a couple ways from the slightly reduced compression and thinner head gaskets. The copper head gaskets are the ones with grafoil inserts around all the water. Performance Gasket Concepts makes them.

Let me know if you plan a trip up, I'm here for ya brother.

I knew you would understand.. lol...
Sounds like your moving along as well.. Ya the P.G.C's with the graphite inserts are the same head gaskets I put under mine..I have done a little searching around & havn't found much on them so you using them too helps boost the confidence level up a bit.. I milled the reciever grooves out of my heads & left the orings in my block , which worked good for me b/c I needed to raise a bit of compression where you were needing to go down a bit..

Thanks man, we will see I may just have to plan a trip up there sometime...
