As Jdub said if you want to run thermotats with a crossover just make sure they have a bypass hose going to the thermo housing

Eric there is a great thread here on OSO addressing the stock 502 hardware & high oil temps.. It was started by Articfriends (smitty) Its a great read & would definatly be worth a look at..

Nah you don't need the circ pump.

Here ya go. This is the set up you need. They even give you the thermostat.

btw still having issues resizing my pics for oso, cant do it cause I have VISTA. anyone know of a way to do it or something to download

Default hot oil

my boat always has what seemed to be a high oil temp 280 @ wot , it would be cooler wile cruising. after looking into it I was told that it is not a problem in nascar they wont even floor the motors till they are at 250 I wouldnt worry about it you can also try some high flow oil filters like wix racing or fram hp and ditch the amsoil. hope this helps
