I wanted to express my gratitude to Phil and the WHARF for accomidating us so well and making everyone feel welcome! It sure was nice meeting everyone and getting the unique chance to see more of these awesome boats in action!! I'm already excited to see what we can put together for next time and years to come. I know everyone I was with had a blast and I know I had a permagrin the whole time running with you guys! Look forward to see what good shots and video might have been taken, I know with that kind of water its pretty hard to get a good shot or almost impossible to get a video that is watchable w/o feeling like your on a rollercoaster (I like roller coasters though)

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the summer and again, really look forward to seeing what we can do next year!
Bring on the pics! MIKE

This was truly one of our best experiences since we've owned our boat. Huge thanks to Doug, Pat, and Eric for putting it together.
Phil and his staff did an unbelievable job of accommodating such a large group, as well as maintaining the usual weekend traffic at The Wharf. Thanks for all of your help!
We met alot of great people and can't wait get out together again--even if it's just a few of us at a time.

For "Ballistic" Chris, sure while it's broke I here from you every other day. Nice to see a picture of the "Flying Coffin" without a tow rope tied to the bow. Congratulations, you made it threw the weekend, are you smiling?

lol... John we had a great time. In all honesty probably one of the best weekends boating that i can remeber. No doubt i have had my fair share of issues with the boat, i hope to have them all behind me and i can look forward now. Both you and John need to come next year! I will call you later this afternoon!

Keep in mind the vintage of these boats. The youngest of the 28s is 14 years old. The oldest, 25 years. Then consider what kind of water they have hammered through most of their lives.
We had a little 70 mile run in fair size chop with a dozen Sabers. Everyone ran hard and nothing broke. Try it with a dozen old Fountains, Cigs or what have you.

Thanks to all of you guys and gals that traveled so far for this weekend. I think it was a great success and it was a real pleasure to meet all of you. I look forward to seeing you all again in the future. If my math is correct, we had 5 single engine 28's, 5 twin engine 28's, 1 - 34 and 1 - 41 plus 3 of those Cigar boats joined us.

We took a few pictures, hopefully others are a little more skilful with the camera and will share some of their photos.
