Hey I like the black paint, I have a 81 377 kaama edition. It is black and gold, we went through it in the early ninties and it was quite a project. Too bad I've only had time for about three rides in the past three years.Hope you can enjoy your work.

Got the starboard engine done- it's ready to fire with exception to repriming, hooking up the battery and exhaust. I am going to order tailpipes from Eddie Marine tomorrow. I also tore down the first engine, and started over. Pulled off the oil pan, replaced the oil pickup(not even taking a chance this time) repainted all the items that had rusted from sitting for a couple of years, and generally pulled it all down to the beginning.

Engine pretty much done- have to bolt on carb and make some brackets for the remote oil filter mount. Still waiting on thermostat housing and some little pieces for the remote oil filter system on the starboard engine, exhaust pipes and a bunch of little stuff. Things seem to take twice as long as they should!!!!!
