30 Scarab Panther
#3
I love my '86, warmed over 425's, TRS. Good riding hull can take decent big water for a true 30 footer. (29'6") been caught in some true 4' waves and always made it back. There was some issues with stringer rot in the 86-89 years but I can't remember what year I think it was 87 or 88. also I think 87 was the first year they started putting bravo's on the panthers. I would love the room the engine compartment has with the bravos, my tranny's push the engines to the back seat. I believe it was a great choice for me for my first offshore twin boat.

I saw that you were looking into nitrous, I wouldn't recommend it. I never dynoed those motors but they were making somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 - 550 hp, that is just about maxed out on the TRS. The good news is you can get the Konrad drive and put whatever power in front of it that you want.
