I have a 1996 26' Scarab w/a 502 Mag, been wanting to get a different prop. Currently running a 23 pitch mirage 3 blade - speedo shows 63-64 @ 5200-5300 rpms depending on load.
What does everyone think would be the best all around prop for my boat ? I would like to pick up a couple mph and still keep somewhat of a hole shot of course. I rarely run with more than half a tank and at most 3-5 people on board.
Any help/opinions would be appreciated

I have a 23 and a 25 pitch 4 blade Hydromotive if you would like to try one of them out look me up on Hogback.
we put a labbed 23p Mirage plus that I had on your boat a couple of years ago and it ran around 66 on gps if memory serves.

The top speed from a Team Scarab Race Boat was 84+ in
Bob Christies "Ale House" boat with a prop custom labed at
Valley Prop Service in Ventura CA. Call Brian they were next
door to Team Scarab while scarab was in Ventura.
