Well, since your from Florida I assume you do most of your boating on the ocean?I've never boated on the ocean but I would imagine it gets pretty bumpy, large wakes and fairly large swells? If I'm corrrect in my assumptions trim tab would make that boat feel like it's riding on rails.

Even if you use your boat on lakes like we do and it gets very wakey the ride is unbeleivable. For example,if your riding WOT now without tabs and you have a rum and coke:p in the cup holders those drinks are all over the place. With tabs those drinks will not move.

Also,if you have people in the back seat tabs will get that boat up and on plane much faster.Tabs I guess were an option on the SCS but I would have thought they would be standard equipment on a boat that runs 75 from the factory

What Up

502SCS 03-22-2008 07:10 AM

Going for a ride today!
Boat is hungry and needs to eat some water :evilb:

BTW Prostreeter...
Lots of lakes and rivers down here and I spend most of my time on them.
St. Johns River from Lake George to St. Augustine!
I do the ocational Poker Run and Fun Run on the outside and yes it gets lumpy but the SCS does as well as anything within a few feet of length of it.

I see that 502SCS has his boat out.Anyother SCS brothers getting their boat out anytime soon?

Next weekend we'll move the snowmobile/atv trailer and get the boat out.Still a couple weeks early though.Last sept I removed the front seats and side panels to have some work done. Both front seats had the seams starting to come apart about 2 inches in length. Was bugging the hell out of me and had them repaired. The side panels had very small abrasions from people getting in the boat with their phucking shoes on and scratched up the side panels. That was repaired too.

After the interior is back in will take it to the stereo outlet and upgrade the rear speakers.Went thru 2 sets of speakers last summer. They weren't cheap speakers at all....just kept blowing them up for some reason.

Sooo, the 2nd week in April is the plan to get her back out on the water

Scarabrun did you sell your boat ?

Prostreeter 03-30-2008 08:51 AM

Hey 502SCS,

I see on the net that you have a writeup on our boats from a magazine.I think it was American Gladiator although I've never heard of that publication.

Would it be possible for you to scan it and list it here or perhaps fax or email a copy to me?

I would really like to read that article. Thanks man:D

I got that from another OSO member. Dont remember who but I can look at my history. It was like 3 years ago howeverYou can copy and paste from my site

I tried the copy/paste deal and the print was still too small for me to clearly read it.
