OK...So I have read all the threads on here about these boats....I love 'm! I think they are the pettiest boats to come with a "factory" paint job...

If I understand it correctly, there are only 4 left that were used in the show, only one of which is in America...? And to acquire one would require someone to grossly overpay for it...?

And there is the issue of the 100 others that were built...? Did they have the arch and the raised hatches...? I love that look, and that would be the one that I was interested in....

Anyone recently buy one...? I'm curious of the cost to buy one now....

I could be interested, simply because I loved the show, the boat, and I have always been a Scarab Fan...

I wouldn't buy a new one, because they aren't as fast as Fountains, the new Donzi's, and other step hulls, but the classic MV edition is beautiful....
