I ran a 23 p mirage plus on mine no problems at all out of the hole! Best I saw was 64 on GPS 61 any day. I have new power now and I am spinning a bravo1 26 at about 5300. I am going to try a 27 mirage this weekend and see what type of numbers I get. Saw mid to upper 70's with the bravo

well I have a 509 blower motor now so it really isn't compairing apples to apples anymore. The 23 was the only prop I ever ran on my boat. Your speedo is probably off a bit also. Get a gps and then you will concrete data to work with.

How much boost are you running with your motor? I have a mild 509 running 4lbs@5200 with a whipple. Best so far is 70mph with my 26 bravo. Its a 96' 29 with a stellings extension box.

I think mine should be a little faster, dyno sheets have me making 630hp@5300rpm. Prop has been labbed and sharpened. Still looking for the right setup.

29Scarab, this is Scott. We tried the Revolution 4 repitched to a 29 and we got 69 on the rev limiter. I think I'm gonna have it massaged to a 32 or so and see what happens. I heard the hydromotive Q-IV are good on these boats because they have natural bow lift. Anyone try one?
