Prop recommendation Scarab 26 502 MPI
#2
When I had the stock 502 in it the best prop I found was a Hydro motive 22p Quad 4.
This got a few more rpms , it balanced the boat out more which made it ride nicer. Planed better ,and improved midrange speed. I topped out on gps at 64 with that prop.

First off, welcome to the Board!
If your interested, I have a 22P Bravo 1 near new condition for sale. Shipped to your door for $375.
A 22P would be the logical next step if your wanting to stay with a Merc prop. Hydro's are great props, it just depends on the application. Sometimes Bravo 1's and sometimes the Hydromotives give the best results. Best suggestion is to try both and see for yourself.

KC ,
your right . the Hydro worked great for the stock motor although I never tried a 22 B1. When I put the 540 in I tried a 26 Hydro and it was terrible, way too much transom lift. I now spin a labbed 26 Bravo 1 , that seemed to work the best.
