You're exactly correct about this boat. It is what it is. I own a TS boat and wanted this one for exactly what it is. It will be delivered in a few days. Have not seen it or been in it but the seller (Jim Earle) has been great to work with, and if a few things check out its a done deal. I know I will drop more money into it, but still feel in the end it will be a great boat for me for some time. Unfortunatley the buyers for this type of boat are few and far between, and I will get hossed financally in the end. However boating is cheaper then therapy, and my kind of cocaine (meaning every one likes a high, just so happens my cocaine is boats and its legal:)

Did you get the boat yet?

Yea but the warrior boat needed a complete redo which its getting, and INXS pretty much needs a full redo. The 45 is about the only one thats a deal out there. From the looks of it the Scarab doesnt need that much work, only with the motors if there was a problem.

I traveled to Canada and can tell you one thing for certain EVERYTHING (though it appears to be in good shape )is 11 years old and one can and will easily spend way over 150 grand minimum total price within the first year of owning it.Earle wanted 90 , i offered 70 cash ,My bid reflected the above.(Basically there was no way in the world i was going to spend 150 on a boat that was ever worth more than 70 no matter the shape its in .Not in this sales market.)

That boat was first owned by Bill Leslie. It was run out of Huron Pointe Marina in Harrison Twp. Michigan. It was used in poker runs while he owned it. Those engines at that time sounded incredible. It ran 100+ MPH. Freshening of the engines was recommended after 40 HRS. of operation.
