My plan is to have Gellner build more power, my goal is the boat to run an honest, solid, GPS 105mph. With drysumping the drives, trannies, and engines, I think that in tself would be good for some speed. Anyone have any info on the boat. I would like to learn as much as possible about it. Boat is being delivered on Friday and I'm having a survey done. From Jim Earle and pics I've gotten of the hull/stringers. It looks rock solid...

Might be worth your time to speak with Larry Smith about this hull and it's design and handling characteristics above 95-100mph. I think he would be happy to speak with you about it and it may affect your final plans. Good luck and PLEASE keep us posted on the boats progress and use.

My understanding is its capable of over 100 now. Very solid at that speed.

I know the last owner of this boat. If you are concernd about the price of gas this is not the boat for you !!!!!!!! One thing to think about is if it is on the same trailer it will have less than 2 k mile on it . At a replacement cost of between 10 & 15 k. If you want more info on the boat i can put you in touch with the last owner.
