Dan, Thanks for the heads up and if you get over to Vincent's Sunday get some pics of the two of ours together…. Poker run being put together for the end of June down at our place, good time to make a trip down there we can probably get three of them together there.

Details on the 383 motors. I have the merc crate 383 strokers carb version. I def would like to know what your running speeds are. I have stock exhaust and BH drives. I know Im not going to be much faster than the stock 350's with only 100hp added. Just curious.

They are 383 roller motors, strange enough it has Holley fuel injection and imco exhaust, Well done very professional job, i would say at least 450-500hp they were built by a pro shop in michican or ohio I don't have the paperwork in front of me but usually stroker motors if balanced and blueprinted will crank some rpms and hp, I'm expecting mid 80s as soon as the weather breaks I will let you know

Hey guys, I am a newb to the site and have a 94 Scarab 22. I absolutely love the Scarab line and can't see myself buying any other boat. My eyes were open to the P-29 when I was out on the Potomac near Belmont Bay (Virginia) and saw one. I started researching them a little bit, and it led me to this forum. I've read a few pages of the thread and plan to read the whole thing (at some point). I saw y'all were talking about some of the P-29's having flood damage, wrecked, etc. Any idea what numbers were damaged/ruined? I plan to be looking to purchase a P-29 in 1-2 years and want to know which ones to not buy. I saw some pics on google of a P-29 wrecked on shore...it was named "Too Legit" and looked to have a Maryland registration. I've done a little research and found 2 for sale - one in Detroit and one in Ohio....not sure if these are the ones that are messed up. Let me know what you guys think...thanks!

Justen

There's usually 1-2 a year that pop up for sale. Stay close to the "Scarab P-29" Facebook page we know where most of them are and post any that we see for sale. There is a ton of info when you do a search on this site, you dig around you will read for days. :D

Decided to get some work on number 22 done this weekend. Installing new transom assemblies and water pickups. Also replaced carpet. Trying to get this finished late fall. This way I will defiantly be in the water in June.http://i790.photobucket.com/albums/y...242da3cea3.jpg
