I'm the second owner of a 130hr. P-29. It has the factory F.I. 350's and Blackhawk drives. I'm located in northern IL. Most of my boating is done on the Chain-O-Lakes. Mine is #7

Where is the # of the boat at? Is it on the back by the vin#?

Rich you ever plan on selling in the near future?

It's the 7th and 8th digit of the Vin. It is located on the starboard rear. My Vin is WELDSA07J596. I've considered selling, but it is extremely hard to upgrade to something that will outperform this boat without spending a small fortune.

I'm not in the market yet ,after I sell mine I am going to buy one. I have two Powerboat Magazine's march 96 with the P-29 on the cover. I've been wanting one for years I actually join the site just to find P-29's that are out there so when I sell mine hopefully I will have somewhat of a choice since the are somewhat of limited boats.
